We were 3 couples and spent a relaxing day enjoying every minute. Gracias Isla Palace por todas sus atenciones! Thank you to the wonderful staff made our day trip special Reception:.
Martha and David Breakfast. Pedro and Joel Hostess. It clearly exceeded our expectations, exceptional facilities and even better location. The best thing, however, is the people. It rained our first two days, but they had game sand other activities to keep us busy.
When the sun was out we spent all day by the pool and on the beach. The beach is small and there were a lot of rocks and seaweed in the water but during the day they try to clean up all the rocks. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. We would definitely go again. I cannot fault this hotel! Luggage was taken up to our room. Was pretty much wowed. No ash trays for smokers on balcony though. The hotel itself was never overly busy which meant service was spot on.
Pool bar staff were great too. Considering we were in one of the most humid places on the planet, it never smelt musty, ever. We visited as part of a multi centre holiday so only stayed for 4 days but that time felt like so much more. Just so laid back and the beach you have access to was perfect. Thankyou to all the staff at Isla Mujeres Palace! Fantastic barryscott, Tue Sep 18 We were somewhat apprehensive about getting to the hotel from the airport but the tour operator had it all covered with minibuses and ferry and taxi waiting for us as necessary, so about an hour in total from the airport to the hotel.
The hotel itself was so quiet and peaceful and the staff very friendly and helpful especially Alan the entertainment officer who gave up a couple of hours to take the two of us on a short notice bike tour around the south of the island including a visit to the lighthouse with a running commentary, also all the restaurant and bar staff including Wilma, Joel and Macedeno who were always cheerful and helpful and provided excellent service.
The food was excellent throughout the weeks stay with plenty of opportunity to try Mexican food as well as the more European types of dish. So all in all an extremely enjoyable week in a lovely hotel, an experience that I hope to be able to repeat.
